Microbiologics Appoints Mark Ellingson as Director of Business Development
Saint Cloud, Minn. - Microbiologics, Inc. has appointed Mark Ellingson as Director of Business Development overseeing the business-to-business partnerships for Microbiologics and its subsidiaries, Virapur and Gibson Bioscience. Ellingson will continue to lead the Microbiologics Business Solutions division, a key component of the company dedicated to partnering with diagnostic and life science companies to develop customized biological controls and services. In his new role, Ellingson will leverage the combined expertise from the company’s teams at Microbiologics, Virapur, and Gibson Bioscience to continue building upon the strong growth from its rapidly expanding offering.

Prior to joining the Microbiologics team in 2014 as the Senior Business Development Manager, Ellingson gained extensive experience in the medical device and molecular diagnostics fields through roles at Roche Diagnostics, Baxter International, and Beckman Coulter. As the Director of Business Development, Ellingson will oversee Microbiologics’ wide range of business-to-business solutions including virology research and development, microbiome development, fermentation, and a wide array of specialty products tailored to the specific needs of its customers.
